Japanese Maples

Japanese maples make a wonderful addition to your shade garden, but did you know they also make great container plants. This whiskey barrel is a perfect size to start a 5 to 7 gallon size specimen tree in. This little maple is in good company with a mixture of rustic colored coleus, and some firecracker fern trailing over the side. They also provide an excellent source of fall color. Everybody needs a tree!

Singled out?

When working with planters, one is a great start, but why limit yourself. The large round planter was the inspiration for the two smaller squares. The planters contain different plants, but as you can see the colors and textures allow for a nice flow throughout. One is lonely, two is company, but three is a beautiful crowd when it comes to plants. Don't let the clouds bring you down, get planting!

Afraid of color?

When going through your closet, you might not pick orange, purple, and blue for the days ensemble, but why not for your planters? Don't be afraid to use bold colors and make a statement with your plants. Sometimes the outcome is surprisingly beautiful. Keep in mind I bear no responsibility if you apply this advice to your wardrobe... hehe. Happy planting!

Short on time?

Here's a great way to add color quickly. Buy large ready to use plants, toss that old plastic pot, (or recycle it back to us), pick up one of our hanging baskets made in various shapes and textures, and simply transplant. No one will question your green thumb if something this beautiful is hanging on your porch. It's as easy as 1-2-3, get gardening!

Summer baskets

This planter is a great addition to hummingbird gardens. It features a cigar plant, orange blooms, blue daze trailing, and some lime green potato vine hanging over the side. Perennials are not just for the garden. They can also be used in planters like this one. Summer sales means one thing :MAKE MORE PLANTERS!
See you in the garden.

It's all here!

Begonias, purple neon, caladiums, elephant ears, all spill over filling this whiskey barrel.
